Steptoe of the Lynchburg, VA, vicinity? They’d likely have met, per one of EJ’s letters, at Red Sweet Springs, VA?

I would like to purchase the cd set as my aunt and uncle sang some of the hymns in their home. I haven’t been able to find the website page to do this. If this is still avaliable for sale, please instruct me as how to proceede. Thanks, awaiting your reply.

Comment on American Party scrapbook, ca. 1856. by Linda Chambers https://blogs.lib.unc.edu/afam/index.php/american-party-scrapbook-ca-1856/comment-page-1/#comment-17658 Mon, 14 May 2012 01:48:08 +0000 https://fullcupdesign.com/wordpress/?p=754#comment-17658 Generally, we think of scrapbook projects that are memories of a persons life and times. This scrapbook covers much more than that. This scrapbook covers a nation’s change, problems, solutions, and the controversy of the times. It is truly a slice of every American’s history.

Comment on James A. Hutchins Scrapbook and Other Papers, 1927-1987 (bulk 1930s-1940s). by Linda Chambers https://blogs.lib.unc.edu/afam/index.php/james-a-hutchins-scrapbook-and-other-papers-1927-1987-bulk-1930s-1940s/comment-page-1/#comment-17657 Mon, 14 May 2012 01:41:02 +0000 https://blogs.lib.unc.edu/afam/?p=2532#comment-17657 This is an interesting scrapbook which centers around one of the first achievements of James A Hutchins. We often collect these scraps of paper, pictures, tickets that are so important at that isolated moment in our lives. These are put away in boxes in the closet until someone brings them out and puts them into some order in a scrapbook for everyone to enjoy.

Comment on Lawrence Gellert scrapbook, 1930s. by Linda Chambers https://blogs.lib.unc.edu/afam/index.php/lawrence-gellert-scrapbook-1930s/comment-page-1/#comment-17656 Mon, 14 May 2012 01:32:11 +0000 https://fullcupdesign.com/wordpress/?p=511#comment-17656 Most of the time we think of a scrapbook having pictures, newspaper articles, and other documents from our history. This scrapbook couldn’t be prepared that way as the history had to come from stories handed down from one generation to the other, sometimes written but most told. Still, this is a scrapbook of people, the events they had, and a history that needed to be recorded.
