Reminiscences relating epecially to slavery on the eastern shore of Maryland when Williams was a boy, and to Williams’s European travels and student life in Germany, 1869-1871; speeches while a student at Dickinson College, Pa., 1864-1865, and while he was teaching in New England, 1880- 1889; historical articles; a commonplace book; and other items.
