Collection Highlights: Unit 23 of this collection is an account book written by William Augustin Perry, the treasurer of the black parish of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Tarboro, North Carolina (1910-1931). (See The account book contains information on money collected at services and disbursement made. There are also two letters of a social nature which were inserted in the volume (1835-1836). (See Volume V-4049/23).
